Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have targeted Russia's Bashneft processing plant in the city of Ufa, positioned some 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine, causing blasts and a blaze, per a source in the Ukrainian intelligence agency.

Two civilians were killed in a church in Kostyantynivka when it was hit, as reported by regional officials.
In the Russian adjacent territory of the Belgorod region, a vehicle operator was killed by a Ukrainian strike, as stated by local officials.
Power Repair Operations in the Capital
Work proceeded on Saturday to recover electricity in Kyiv, after Russian attacks.
Power had been recovered to over 800,000 residents by Saturday and the largest private energy company stated the key operations to repair the grid was concluded though some outages persisted.
Anti-Aircraft Efforts and Drone Downings
Ukraine's anti-aircraft systems intercepted or jammed 54 out of seventy-eight UAVs from Russia deployed towards the country during the night, the aerial defense command said on the weekend.
Russia's military authorities said it eliminated 42 enemy drones over the country's airspace.
Cuba Refutes Allegations of Deploying Soldiers to the War
Havana on the weekend rejected American assertions it has deployed military personnel to fight in the Ukraine war, while declaring the government "lack accurate details about citizens of Cuba" engaged "voluntarily" or "within the troops of the conflicting parties".
The foreign ministry in the capital said twenty-six Cubans had been given prison terms to jail sentences ranging from 5 to 14 years for mercenary involvement since the autumn of 2023 when news spread of Cuban nationals being dispatched to the frontlines in the conflict.

Relatives of Cuban nationals who traveled to the Russian Federation in the year told news outlets at the time that their family members had been deceptively recruited through promotions on social media.
