Vince Zampella, Dies in an LA Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The renowned game designer lost his life when his car crashed and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his family, and all those touched by his work," an official with Electronic Arts said.
